Battlefield 6 Patch Notes — Season 3: Warlords: Supremacy (Update 1.3.1.0)

Date: May 12, 2026

This is the biggest Battlefield 6 update since launch. Season 3 opens with Railway to Golmud, a reimagining of the Battlefield 4 classic and now the largest map in BF6 at four times the size of Mirak Valley. A moving railway creates a shifting frontline that squads battle to control, with infantry, tanks, jets, and helicopters colliding across a truly massive playspace. Ranked Battle Royale Quads also arrives for the first time, supported by updates to mission flow, loot detection, anti-vehicle drops, scoring, and downed-state mechanics.

Three new weapons join the roster — the M16A4 assault rifle with burst-fire and fully automatic modes, the L115 bolt-action sniper rifle built for extreme range, and the RPK-74M light machine gun for sustained pressure. But the real depth of this patch is in the systems overhaul. Vehicles received a complete balance and handling pass — tank damage models were simplified so turret hits deal 75% damage, body hits deal 100%, favorable side hits deal 150%, and favorable rear hits deal 200%. All tracked vehicles got a new transmission and steering system for smoother acceleration and tighter turning. Tank regeneration was reworked so the delay increased from 6 to 12 seconds but now heals to full instead of just the next bracket. Tanks are no longer immobilized by high damage (anti-tank mines still immobilize).

On the infantry side, the Ammo Box now refills all magazines and the Ammo Crate provides one magazine per weapon. Netcode improvements, controller auto-recoil adjustments, mortar resupply nerfs, and a cleaner ping system round out the update. Season 3 rolls out in three phases — Warlords: Supremacy (May 12), Blastpoint (June 9), and High-Value Target (June 30). Cairo Bazaar, a Grand Bazaar reimagining, arrives June 4.

Overwatch Patch Notes — May 12 Mid-Season Balance Update

Date: May 12, 2026

The Summit Mid-Season patch landed with a massive balance sweep touching nearly every support and multiple DPS heroes. The headline is a Reaper mini-rework designed to give him a stronger anti-air build option — bonus damage to airborne targets was increased from 20% to 25% on one ability and 25% to 30% on another, with Blizzard citing the "increased number of fliers in the roster" as the driver.

On the nerf side, Zenyatta's survivability took a hit with his self-healing from damage dealt cut from 30% to 20%. Illari's Solar Rifle base projectile size was reduced to zero (hitscan global bonus still applies), making her shots harder to land. Kiriko's Protection Suzu lost its bonus healing on cleanse entirely. Lúcio's Sound Barrier dropped from 750 to 625 overhealth with duration cut from 6 to 5 seconds. Freja's Machine Gun build was reined in with reduced currency gains, wider bolt spread, and lower barrier healing.

Multiple abilities were re-enabled after emergency disables — Freja's Lille Fælde, Juno's Blink Boosts, and Backstabber all returned with fixes. The 10th anniversary celebration event runs May 12 through June 1 with challenge-based Anniversary Lootboxes and a community progress bar unlocking additional rewards.

League of Legends Patch Notes — Patch 26.10

Date: May 13, 2026

Patch 26.10 continues the Season 2 shakeup with targeted champion balance and a major event return. Shyvana's early power was shifted from jungle into top lane — her target max health damage on Q scales from 4% at rank 1 instead of 2%, while later ranks stay the same. Anivia caught base stat nerfs after dominating top, mid, and support without much build differentiation. Naafiri's ultimate damage was reduced per packmate at higher ranks.

The most interesting change is Quinn, who received mana cost reductions and jungle-specific buffs. Riot explicitly stated they want to see if Quinn and Valor can "thrive as a natural predator in the jungle" and prey on the latest jungler addition, Fizz. The Essence Emporium returns May 13 through June 10 with chromas, special content, and a new "Big Serious Gamer" title for players with mountains of Blue Essence. Rain Shepherd Ivern and PROJECT: Quinn skins also dropped May 13.

Diablo IV Patch Notes — Patch 3.0.2

Date: May 13, 2026

The first major Lord of Hatred cleanup patch is here, and it's enormous. After two weeks of rapid-fire exploit hotfixes, Blizzard delivered a comprehensive bug fix pass across virtually every system introduced with the expansion. War Plans received the most attention — Nemesis Boss Lairs could previously fail to trigger, be infinitely farmed by grouping up and swapping difficulties, or show inconsistent objectives. All three issues were fixed. The Pit and Tower Run exit portal was removed after the QoL addition "missed the mark." Unintended rewards and party issues after failed Undercity runs were also corrected.

Talisman fixes, Horadric Cube fixes, class-specific bug squashes, dungeon fixes, and UI improvements rounded out the patch. The Soil, The Seed, The Fruit quest progression blocker caused by multiple players interacting with chains simultaneously was resolved. Various stability improvements were included across all platforms. This is the first patch since Lord of Hatred's April 28 launch that feels like a planned update rather than emergency triage.

The Sims 4 Patch Notes — May 12, 2026 Update

Date: May 12, 2026

EA delivered the long-anticipated May update with over 87 bug fixes and several quality-of-life features. Infant and Toddler gameplay received dedicated improvements based on community feedback, with a new basegame Infant Playmat included for all players (featuring a variant with "dainty little sheep"). The save system got a significant upgrade — new backup redundancy options let players choose daily, weekly, or monthly save backups to protect against data loss.

The Lady Bridgerton's Masquerade Ball login event runs May 12 through July 7, offering exclusive rewards including the Heart on Your Sleeve trait, Daytime Stroll Gown, and Gallant Wool Coat. The event menu was improved based on feedback from the last login event — it now shows a weekly check-in counter, segmented weeks, a countdown timer, and a highlight showing upcoming rewards. The Sims 4 Bridgerton Kits Bundle launches May 14 with three exclusive items alongside two new kits. Create A Sim improvements and additional game setting options were also included.

ArenaNet pushed a story content update continuing the Inquest storyline. The commander and allies landed on Castora, pursuing the Inquest and their enigmatic new director, Vloxx, who seeks the ancient seer artifact Ancora. After winning the race to find the artifact, the commander was ambushed by Vloxx and his forces.
