Battlefield 6 Patch Notes — Season 4: Pacific Front (Update 1.4.1.0)
Date: July 21, 2026
This is the biggest Battlefield 6 update since launch — and it's not close. Season 4: Pacific Front introduces full naval warfare alongside the largest map DICE has ever built. Tsuru Reef is a sprawling Pacific archipelago dense with luxury bungalows, tropical vegetation, jagged cliffs, and open water, with combat designed around simultaneous land, naval, and air warfare. Wake Island also returns, bringing one of the most recognizable maps in the franchise's 22-year history back to life.
The naval combat system centers on two new vehicles: the two-seat RCB-90 Patrol Boat and the four-seat 7.7m NSW RHIB, a fast light transport boat first introduced in Battlefield REDSEC. A new Dynamic Wave System changes how water behaves — rolling waves affect movement, visibility, and engagement flow along shorelines. Boats pitch and roll with the water, creating a fundamentally different combat feel than anything Battlefield has offered before. IFVs still sink and explode in water, however — amphibious vehicle traversal hasn't made it into this version.
Three new weapons join the arsenal: the BROD 3, EF88, and VSSM, covering different playstyles from close to long range. Two new attachments arrived — the Extended Barrel increases projectile velocity at the cost of mobility and ADS speed (available for the M87A1, M1014, 18.5KS-K, and DB-12), and the 1P86 LPVO provides manually switchable 1.50x and 4.50x magnification levels. A new Ranked Battle Royale season launched with a competitive leaderboard and permanent rewards.
The bot AI received a comprehensive overhaul for water navigation — bots can now swim to shore, use boats to reach objectives, respond to pick-up requests, leave beached boats behind, cross shallow water with land vehicles, and no longer steal all available boats at round start. Season 4 rolls out in phases through September, with the Season 4 Battle Pass offering themed paths across land, air, and sea domains.

Heroes of the Storm Patch Notes — July 20, 2026
Date: July 20, 2026
Heroes of the Storm received one of its most sweeping balance patches in years, touching dozens of heroes with significant mechanical changes. Ragnaros was the biggest winner — Molten Core was completely reworked. The ability's health was increased from 3,996 to 5,000, duration extended from 18 to 23 seconds, but range now starts at 20 and grows to 35 over 9 seconds instead of starting at the full 35. Ragnaros is now stunned for 1 second upon exiting Molten Core, adding a vulnerability window. Molten Swing damage was increased from 161 to 250 but no longer deals bonus damage to minions, cooldown increased from 6 to 9 seconds, and it now knocks enemies back.
Blood Rage received a new baseline quest — deal damage to enemy heroes with Blood Rage's bleed to permanently increase its damage by 0.25% per stack, with bleed damage reduced from 11 to 8 to compensate. Revolving Sweep can no longer be detached when the target becomes Unstoppable. Abathur's Monstrosity now displays as a Quest with a unit frame for tracking health and stacks. Alexstrasza's cooldown for Dragonqueen now starts after the form expires rather than on cast, with cooldown reduced from 150 to 130 seconds.
Locusts no longer deal 25% bonus damage to structures. Multiple talent tier swaps occurred across the roster — some Level 16 talents moved to Level 1 and vice versa. This is the kind of foundational balance pass that reshapes the entire meta, and seeing it land in 2026 is a testament to the game's continued community-driven development.

The Sims 4 Patch Notes — July 21, 2026 Update
Date: July 21, 2026
EA continued its notification spam crusade with another targeted update. The new Nordhaven Hobby Meetups toggle was added to the Festival Notifications section in Gameplay Options, letting players disable those alerts independently. More significantly, the "Sugary Cravings" pop-up and other Businesses and Hobbies Expansion Pack notifications were removed entirely — these were among the most complained-about notification loops in the community.
Quick Buy, the streamlined purchasing feature detailed in the June 29 update, is now available on PlayStation consoles. New swatches were added for the Stove, YumCooker (Used) for City Living owners based on community feedback. The Save Gnome — yes, that Save Gnome — returns in the patch notes with a characteristically dramatic plea for players to save their games before updating.

2XKO Patch Notes — Patch 1.2.5
Date: July 23, 2026
Riot's tag-team fighting game delivered a significant systems rework targeting the Juggernaut and Sidekick Fuse mechanics. Juggernaut received the most changes — Super Meter gain was increased by 25%, Pushblock no longer uses Break meter (it now has a 4-second cooldown instead), and attacks can now be dash-canceled by spending 30% Break meter. This dash cancel works the same as Fury dash canceling but is now available outside of Fury, giving Juggernaut players a new advanced tool. Break meter gain on successful Eject was halved from 20% to 10%.
Sidekick's Assist power was acknowledged as too low without Handshake Tag, so the Point champion can now move freely during Sidekick Super and Super Meter gain was increased by 15%. The Chipotle crossover event Part 2 runs July 21 through August 6 with in-game missions earning real-life coupon codes for US players. Riot noted that Part 1's reward processing took weeks due to the volume of participants.

Fallout 76 Patch Notes — Patch 69
Date: July 21, 2026
Bethesda's July update focused on build limits, challenge fixes, and crafting corrections. The Wise Mothman Throne now has a build limit of 20, preventing the decorative spam that was causing performance issues in CAMP areas. A description was added to the Teal Sink indicating it produces water and cannot be built in shelters. The "Harvest a Prickeye" challenge was incorrectly displayed as "Harvest a Slipper Cactus" — fixed. The "Scrap Headwear" challenge now functions properly. Cannery Recipes are now blocked from receiving Super Duper benefits, closing an unintended resource multiplication path.
