Diablo IV Patch Notes — Patch 3.1.1 (July 14) and Patch 3.1.1a (July 16)
Dates: July 14 (3.1.1) and July 16 PC / July 17 Console (3.1.1a)
Two patches in three days — and 3.1.1a is the one that changes everything. The community had been vocal about two Season 14 pain points since launch: Mythic Uniques felt too rare and the one-crafted-Mythic equipment restriction felt too punishing. Blizzard responded to both.
Patch 3.1.1 on July 14 delivered the Seasonal Reputation Board at Temis, giving players a structured progression path through Season 14's content. Deathtoll Chambers now guarantee at least one Superior Lair Key at high Torment levels. The Corrupted Reaper's Pandemonium Fragment drops were doubled to up to two, scaling with Torment. The Repeatable Glints of Hope Reputation Reward now guarantees a Fragment. Mythic crafting cost was reduced from 5 to 4 Fragments via the Horadric Cube. El'druin, Sword of Justice was added to the Blacksmith's Mythic Cache. Multiple bug fixes addressed Tower rewards only going to one party member, map loading failures in Dark Refuge, and the Season Rank objective Terrorize The Night failing to progress.
Class balance was significant. Paladin's base damage was doubled from 90% to 180%, with charge cooldown halved from 10 to 8 seconds and armor while charging increased from 40% to 60%. Judicator's damage was completely reworked — instead of 8% stacking 10 times, it now applies a flat 60% bonus that stacks once, making Judicator builds viable without relying on proc stacking. Resolve was capped at 16 stacks and Thorns damage was reduced from 100% to 70%.
Patch 3.1.1a on July 16 was the surprise follow-up. The one-crafted-Mythic equipment restriction was removed entirely for the rest of Season 14 — you can now equip as many crafted Mythics as you want. Blizzard noted they'll re-evaluate this in Season 15 when the Horadric Cube gets a direct Mythic upgrade system that preserves the original Unique. Mythic and Iconic Unique drop rates from the Corrupted Reaper were officially increased. The ability to apply the Mythic modifier to Unique Charms and Seals in the Cube was removed — this was an unintended bug, not a feature. Cross-play was temporarily disabled until the console patch landed on July 17.

League of Legends Patch Notes — Patch 26.14
Date: July 14, 2026
The T1 World Championship skins celebrating the historic three-peat are the headliner — T1 Galio, T1 Xin Zhao, T1 Seraphine, T1 Ambessa, T1 Yunara, and MVP T1 Miss Fortune all dropped July 15. Victorious Rengar also arrived. MVP Miss Fortune will enter the Mythic Shop at 200 Mythic Essence in early 2027 after leaving the regular shop at Patch 26.23. The "Together as 1" Nexus Finisher is available in the Featured Mythic Shop section for 250 Mythic Essence.
On the balance side, Mordekaiser received meaningful damage buffs after losing power from the Riftmaker bug fix in Patch 26.10. His isolated target damage was increased from 60-120 (+40% AP) to 60-140 (+45% AP), rewarding him more for locking someone in his Death Realm. Azir received bug fixes and rune interaction changes rather than straight numerical buffs — Riot noted he was feeling "more headless chicken than valiant falcon" and opted for quality improvements over raw power. Nami was buffed after struggling since the Mandate changes and her nerf in 26.7.

Overwatch Patch Notes — July 14 Summer Games 2026
Date: July 14, 2026
Summer Games 2026 is live from July 14 through July 30 with the returning Lucioball, Lucioball Remix, and Winston's Beach Volleyball arcade modes. Complete challenges to earn summer-themed loot. The Excavation Initiative treasure dig event continues through August 10 alongside Summer Games — win one game per day on any three days during the week to complete a dig and earn a lootbox. Dedicated players can complete two digs per week for bonus rewards.
Balance changes shipped alongside the event. Vendetta's Onslaught movement speed was increased from 2% to 3% per stack with maximum duration extended from 5.5 to 7.5 seconds, and her ultimate cost was reduced by 15%. Blizzard noted that previous reductions to Overhead Swing range and Onslaught movement speed reduced her ability to secure eliminations, and these buffs aim to make Onslaught a better mid-fight tool. Movement speed bonus on another ability was reduced from 40% to 30% to compensate. Drone deploy speed was increased from 30 to 40 meters per second with range increased from 14 to 16 meters and grapple range from 17 to 19 meters. Max energy gained was increased from 50 to 75.

Guild Wars 2 Patch Notes — July 14 and July 15 Updates
Dates: July 14 and July 15, 2026
Two updates in two days, with the July 15 patch delivering the most comprehensive profession skill rebalance Guild Wars 2 has seen in months. Mesmer received sweeping cooldown reductions — Phantasmal Warlock dropped from 15 to 12 seconds in PvE (18 to 15 in PvP/WvW), Chaos Armor from 20 to 16 seconds, Chaos Storm from 25 to 20 in PvE (28 to 25 in PvP/WvW), Phantasmal Duelist from 20 to 16 in PvE (18 to 16 in PvP/WvW), and Magic Bullet from 25 to 20 in PvE. Duelist's Discipline was reworked — it no longer causes pistol skills to apply bleeding, with that effect moved to Phantasmal Duelist itself. The Prestige dropped from 30 to 25 seconds in PvP/WvW.
Engineer received equally significant changes. Autodefense Bomb Dispenser was completely reworked and renamed to Sapping Device — it now weakens enemies when you immobilize or disable them. Mecha Legs now also grants increased movement speed. Bunker Down's bandages now grant regeneration and mines now inflict vulnerability. Cleansing Synergy now also grants regeneration to affected allies. Reconstruction Enclosure protection duration increased from 2.5 to 3 seconds. On the nerf side, Symbiotic Shielding and Defensive Protocol: Thorns both had PvP cooldowns increased from 25 to 30 seconds.

Forza Horizon 6 Patch Notes — July 13 Update
Date: July 13, 2026
The headline is the leaderboard wipe. Playground Games announced that Rivals leaderboards will receive a complete reset once remaining exploits are patched. Unrealistic entries achieved through glitches or Drag Tires (before the June 15 physics balance) will be removed entirely. Any Collection Journal items earned from legitimate clean times will remain unlocked. PR Stunts leaderboard exploits are also under investigation and may receive a similar wipe.
Beyond the competitive integrity fix, the patch improved AI cornering behavior — AI drivers will no longer cause excessive collisions on corner entries. Audio received multiple fixes: Speech Volume no longer affects GPS Voice, music track rotation was improved, and new stock and race exhaust audio was added for the 1995 Toyota MR2 GT and 2022 Ferrari 296 GTB. A dead-stop bug on kerbs with the MR2 was also fixed. General performance and stability improvements shipped across all platforms.
